Dr. Tracy Murphy has been practicing dentistry for thirteen years. After graduating cum laude from Tufts Dental School in Boston, she worked at an office in Hanover and then in Falmouth before opening her own practice twelve years ago here in Pocasset. Dr. Murphy is also a very active mother of three and often seen along with her husband Philvolunteering their time in the community, and coaching soccer.

Dr. Murphy and her staff are committed to providing you with the highest quality care possible in a relaxing and caring environment. Our hygienists, assistants, and front office staff are helpful and friendly. We are always available to answer your questions, explain treatment options, and address any concerns you may have. Many of our patients have commented that they have never felt as relaxed during treatment as they have here.

As a general dentist Dr. Murphy can take care of all of your general dental needs including: basic preventative and periodontal care, root canals, composite or amalgam fillings and cosmetic bonding. At your first visit, we will do a thorough, comprehensive exam, x-rays if needed, and clean your teeth. Your second appointment will be to sit and talk with Dr. Murphy about the findings of your exam, and any treatment that is necessary.

One of the aspects of dentistry Dr. Murphy finds especially enjoyable is designing new smiles for those looking for a smile “makeover”. There are many options available to whiten/brighten, reshape teeth, and create an esthetically pleasing smile for you. Veneers and Lumineers are increasingly popular and an excellent way to change the appearance of teeth with little or no preparation to natural teeth.                                                                                                 

Dr. Murphy is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, as well as the American Dental Association, American Academy of Laser Dentistry, Chamber of Commerce, Academy of General Dentistry and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
